We put together these “House Rules” so that you can enjoy the facilities as much as the next guests. When you make your reservations, you will be confirming that you agree to abide by them. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know.
Please process your payment online. Credit card information must be provided in order to complete the booking process. A deposit of 20% of the reservation’s total cost is required at the time of booking to hold the reservation. This will be charged to the credit card on file. The full balance is due upon check-in. Additional charges incurred during your stay will be charged at time of departure. If you need to pay by check, mail to Alaska Range Hideaways ATTN: Ben Mercier, P.O. Box 1229 Delta Junction, AK 99737.
***The principle reservation policies are the same for tour package booking. Again there is a minimum deposit of 20% of the total reservation/booking cost for all tours, and the full balance is due upon arrival.***

We know that emergencies may come up and ask that you appreciate that holding reservations means that we may be turning away business from others. Because of this, the 20% deposit payment will not be refunded unless you cancel 15 days prior to your arrival date. If you cancel and the date is greater than 15 days from arrival, we will refund your deposit, less our administration fee of $50.00. There will be no refund of any monies collected if you cancel within 15 days of arrival. All cancellations will be processed approximately on the 15th of the following month.
You are responsible for damage caused by you or your party. Damage is where labor and/or materials is required to restore the cabin to the condition it was in when you arrived. We want to return your deposit to you in full. When you make your reservations and do not use a credit card, then on arrival you must put a down cash security/damage deposit of one night’s stay. After check out and your unit has been inspected and nothing found missing or damaged or extra cleaning needed, then your money will be returned to you within 15 days.
***By placing a reservation you acknowledge that your credit card we have held on file will be charged for damages you caused during your stay.***

Our check in begins at 1:00pm each day. Checkout is at 11:00 AM; subject to availability, you can get a late check-out which must be cleared by the cabin keeper. If you check out late and cause other guests to be inconvenienced, you may be charged.
We are in the great Alaska Interior! Bears and moose are nearby. So are some pretty large flying insects. They are not used to people (except the bugs) and, caught at the right time, they can do much hurt. Just give them a wide berth … especially a protective mama moose or bear.
While we are remote in location - no one is going to find us accidentally - make no mistake, our sanctuaries include the finest amenities and tasteful appointments. HDTV, Wi-Fi, gas stove fireplace, stainless steel kitchen, a bathroom that requires long soaks, and a killer bed. Kick back in the Great Room with a view of the moon on the mountains...or a sunset depending on the time of year.
